Whether your designing your nursery to welcome your baby or refreshing your toddlers space we’ve got some tips for creating a room that will provide endless fun for your little ones!

 

Create your colour palette! Start off by choosing the perfect colour palette for your space. Choose a base colour for your walls and add in accent colours using rugs, toss cushions and fun accessories. Neutrals seem to be a favourite among trend makers in nursery’s and kids rooms, but we say that if you favour the bold look then go for it! 

 

Add Dimension! Whether you love the bold look or opt for a calmer, cool toned palette adding in dimension is key. Chunky knits, a sheepskin rug and pillows with pom poms can add lots of fun layers! 

Add a touch of whimsy! It wouldn’t be a kids room without a touch of whimsy. We love the look of a fun rabbit eared mirror or an Bear- themed wicker laundry hamper. A cozy place to read or snuggle is always a hit, we love the play tents filled with books and pillows to curl up and read in. Little ones will love the playful vibes these pieces add to their space! 

 

When styling a kids space we think that fun and function are top priorities. Extra storage is always a good idea and you can’t go wrong adding a playful touch or two!
